Well this is our first entry in the blog world :) There are so many things going on in our life right now I figured this might be the best way to share. You can only do so much with Facebook. Brian is coming up on his 2 year anniversary in the Air Force, I can't believe how fast time passes. He finished his CDC's (Career Development Course) and did really well. It's a big relief to be done with those and move forward in the next stages of his career. We're so proud of him and greatfull for all of his hard work.
Noah is starting to speak and understand a lot more. He is so much fun to play with now, and has such an imagination. He turned 3 this year, so preschool is just around the corner. I'm not sure if I will be putting him in this year or not, but we will do a little bit next year for sure. From what I just measured him, he's 3'8" and weighs about 43 lbs. I know, he's a big boy. I have a hard time when I go clothes shopping remembering that he's actually in much bgger sizes then the norm for his age.
I've recently signed both boys up for swimming lessons and wasn't sure how the boys would do. Noah has been pretty scared of the pool for a while now. The first lesson it took some convincing, but he got in and participated but sure did hold on to Mrs. Tiffany for his life. But, he's been doing so much better and goes straight into the pool and had no reservations to jump our right to her. I'm really proud how well he's doing in the pool so quickly. We haven't seen her in over a month because of illnesses and then she was on vacation, but we should be starting back up again soon. In the meantime we're hanging out at the pools around our community and he seems to be doing okay in the water (as long as he can touch).
Logan is such a busy boy, I remember Noah having a lot of energy but I don't remember him having this much. I don't think there is much down time for Logan when he's not eating or sleeping. He is always getting into something in one room or another and he doesn't just get into things he empties them. Whether it's a tub of toys, a cubbord in the kitchen or bathroom, a shelf on the pantry, a dresser drawer, etc. (he's really not picky) he empties it. I don't know why he likes to make such a mess, but he does. He's not all bad though :) he's such a good little dancer. I will figure out how to post video on this and upload one. If there is any music on he loves to get down, literally. I don't know how he's still able to dance from a squatting position, but he manages it. He's also starting to become so much of a big boy! On top of mom and dad, he says "hi" "bye, bye" "night, night" "uh oh" ju" (juice) "moe" (more) "done" cheese" "ball" "spo ba" (sponge bob, and he doesn't even watch that show) "no" (Noah and Logan like to yell this at each other all day) "yes" "mine" "my mom" (another thing the boys like to argue about) "peas" (please) "dance" "ta da" "yay" and much more. His vocabulary seems to grow daily. He actually just had his first week of nursery last Sunday. He did really well, although he wanted to leave a little early there was no emotional break down and could have cared less when we left.
As for myself, I'm doing well. I miss my family back home like crazy and am so grateful for technology during this time to be able to keep up on what's going on with everyone. I've been very busy lately with the different activities the boys are into and trying to keep up with the house and everything else that is going on. I'm trying to finish up school and am currently taking classes at Pima Community College so I can transfer and hopefully finish my degree at UoA (University of Arizona) before we're stationed in another area and their requirements are different then what I'm working on.
